To Accelerate the Efficiency of Digital Logistics in Indonesia, Shipper Welcomes Ediwan Prabowo and Irfan Wahid as Commissioners

Jakarta, January 14, 2022 – At the start of 2022, Shipper welcomed Lieutenant General of Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) (retired) Ediwan Prabowo S.Ip, MBA and Irfan Wahid as commissioners.

During their appointment ceremony, Budi Handoko as the Co-Founder and Chief Operation Officer (COO) of Shipper stated that he felt honored and expressed his respect towards the two highly-experienced individuals who joined the ranks of Shipper’s commissioners.  Budi hoped that the appointment of the new commissioners will increase Shipper’s competence required to carry out its mission with the stakeholders and improve the efficiency of the logistics ecosystem in Indonesia, especially in the MSME sector.

“As figures behind economic and business growth in Indonesia, Mr. Ediwan and Mr. Irfan share the same vision as Shipper, namely helping business owners adapt and transition to the digital domain without facing any difficulties,” Budi said. “With the current composition of the Board of Commissioners, Shipper is ready to help its users face any challenges in the logistics system to achieve the company’s goals. The inclusion of Ediwan Prabowo and Irfan Wahid in the Board of Commissioners signifies a new chapter for Shipper in providing the best logistics services for its users,” he added.

Lieutenant General of TNI R. Ediwan Prabowo, S.IP. was a high-ranking officer of the Indonesian Army who had held the honor of being the best graduate of TNI’s Military Academy in 1984, receiving the Adhi Makayasa award in the process. Previously, he served as the president commissioner of PT Dahana (Persero) from 2015 to 2018. Ediwan Prabowo has bear witness to Shipper’s efforts to assist the digital logistics segment through its ideas and solutions.

On the other hand, Irfan Asy’ari Sudirman Wahid, better known as Ipang Wahid, served as a Special Advisor of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs, specifically in the Acceleration of Tourism Spot Development Department in 2019. He was subsequently appointed as Independent Commissioner of PT Angkasa Pura I from 2020 – present.
